I was born to Sikh parents who instilled the value of service and respect from my early childhood. I have always had a natural instinct for helping others and I find no greater joy than assisting people around me to succeed. I have the blessing of being the father to two amazing daughters, both who are very successful in their careers and continue to be my anchors and my inspiration.
I have an MBA, specializing in sales and marketing and have had a very successful 30 year career in the Canadian Foreign Service as a manager, mentor, administrator, Trade Commissioner and a Security and Emergency Response expert. At the same time, over the past 4 decades, I have successfully run a small home renovation (jack of all trades and master of some) and home rental business. Having lived and worked in many countries, I speak many languages and have come to understand the nuances of dealing with clients from different cultures.
During my career as a Canadian Foreign Service Officer, I travelled and lived around the world (Venezuela, Indonesia, Chile, China, India, Afghanistan and Cuba) with my family. I was privileged to serve Canada and brought much needed assistance to Canadians living and travelling overseas. Whenever I was back in Ottawa, I designed, built, bought and renovated properties. I successfully concluded 25 real estate transactions before becoming a real estate agent.
In my spare time, I enjoy working out, am an avid golfer, tennis and ice hockey player, love to read, travel and love to ride my motorcycle. I have spent many summers as a volunteer motorcycle riding instructor with the Ottawa Safety Council. I am also a resource to many fellow agents in the home renovations, maintenance and upkeep area.

- Video conferencing for viewing listings from the comfort of your home
- Personally preview properties to ensure they meet my client’s criteria
- Personally pre-inspect a property prior to a licensed inspector being contracted, to ensure it would pass an inspection rather than spending the money to learn of defects
- Work with lenders to ensure pre-approval and other financial transactions are completed efficiently (delivery of documents etc)
- Provide detailed contact information for all service providers (finance, insurance, legal, inspections, rental agents, contractors and many others)
- When required, pick up and deliver documents to various service providers
- Provide all services to conclude a transaction should buyer/seller be out of country
- Should buyer be overseas when house closes, visit property to ensure insurance requirements are met
- Help coordinate any maintenance and upgrades as required
